An amazing sunrise tour with Captain Robert this morning. Our private tour with Captain Robert was much more than just an airboat ride. He is a true encyclopedia of the Everglades’ flora and fauna. The hour and a half flew by, and we saw and experienced everything we had hoped for. Of course, everyone wants to see alligators, and we got to see them up close. An outstanding and truly unique adventure. It’s well worth paying a little extra for a private tour instead of a group tour—you’ll get so much more out of it.

We did the 1.5-hour private tour with Captain Robert, and it was one of the best experiences of our Miami trip.I had done one of the big commercial airboat tours with the animal shows about 18 years ago, and I assumed feeding the gators to get them closer was just what an Everglades tour was. Today’s experience completely changed my perspective.Captain Robert’s respect for—and connection to—the Everglades is genuine. He knows the ecosystem inside and out and shares it in a way that never disturbs the wildlife. We saw plenty of alligators and birds, but what stood out most was how deeply he cares about protecting this incredible place.If you’re choosing between airboat tours, this group of captains are the one. I was very happy with my 1hr semiprivate tour at 8am in July. Captain Billy led us to multiple alligator nests and bird sites. His deep history with this place enriched the tour with personal stories about the animals. Some birds who knew him landed on the boat hoping for snacks. Due to the unusually low water levels we stayed in the canals and did not travel much in the grasses. Still, there was plenty of wildlife and plants to enjoy in our timeframe. The 1 hour flew by. Bug spray is recommended this time of year just for getting on/off the boat – no issues once we were moving.

We had an amazing 1.5-hour private airboat tour through the Everglades today! Our captain, Robert, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. You could immediately tell he was born and raised here and truly loves this unique place. He answered every single question in great detail and made the whole experience unforgettable. He stopped wherever we wanted and took us to the best spots, where we saw at least half a dozen alligators! Absolutely breathtaking. We highly recommend this tour, especially with Captain Robert!

We had Captain Billy as our guide. The tour of the Everglades along with the knowledge shared was awesome. He took us around some nests to see some momma gators and we seen some juvenile gators and even a daddy gator. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to family and friends. Don’t look anywhere else! We did the semi private boat tour for an hour. Ended up being private as no one else booked the 1000 ride that day. Our guide was confident and shared his vast knowledge of the area. We got to hold critters and saw 7 alligators including some babies. Easily was a favorite of our trip! Peaceful and beautiful. I had looked many places including the commercial ones with crowds but this was perfect!

My wife and I had an airboat tour of the Florida Everglades this morning. Robb, a member of the family who owns the airboat company took us out for an hour and a half excursion. We saw amazing wildlife, including alligators and turtles and more birds than you can count. Rob stopped at Key point to show us important features. We got within 3 to 4 feet of an 11 foot long alligator. This is one of about half a dozen alligators we were able to see.Rob provided an amazing experience. We highly recommend this adventure to everyone

I price shopped and read reviews for several places before choosing this company. Billy was a great guide. I made a bird friend along the way and even saw a mama gator with her babies!! Billy is very informative and mixes in some humor as well. I’m definitely coming back with my kiddos when we visit Florida again. We highly recommend Everglades Airboat Expeditions. It is a small, family-run company. The captains are South Florida natives and are extremely knowledgeable about the animals and plants in the Everglades. Captain Billy said that typically alligators are resting during the early morning when we did our tour, but he was determined for us to see one, and we saw multiple alligators along with swamp chickens, fish, and more. He shared interesting information, had a great sense of humor, and was an excellent airboat driver.
