Die Airboat Tour mit Everglades Airboat Expeditions war richtig toll! Wir buchten eine semi-private Tour und waren zur Mittagszeit schließlich die einzigen. Unser Guide war super freundlich, informativ und hat uns mit spannenden Geschichten die Natur der Everglades nähergebracht. Pat – unser Guide – ist ein Local und kennt sich hervorragend in dem riesigen Gebiet aus. Wir haben Alligatoren aus nächster Nähe gesehen und gleichzeitig viel über die Historie der Everglades gelernt. Das Boot war komfortabel, die Fahrt hat Spaß gemacht und wir fühlten uns jederzeit sicher. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis – absolut empfehlenswert!

Captain Roger was great! Very knowledgeable and gave a great tour. Price was well worth the adventure we received. Fantastische ervaring! Wij zaten in een boot met zes andere mensen en scheurde over de moerassen van The Everglades. Onze gids stopte op een aantal plekken om alligators te spotten.Uiteindelijk hebben we er eentje naast de boot gezien. Maar dit maakte niet uit! Wij hebben het uur van ons leven gehad.De gids praat vol passie over de alligators en heeft veel kennis. Aan boord kun je ook gratis flesjes water pakken.Neem wat dollars aan contanten mee voor een tip aan het einde. Deze airboat rode is vele male beter dan die grote commerciële.Ps wat vonden jullie van the Dutch Candy (zoute drop)?

This tour was amazing. Captain Pat was welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the Everglades. He was an expert navigator and answered all of our questions regarding the environment and wildlife and was informative about conservation.The airboat ride itself was wonderful. Skimming across the water through sawgrass and mangroves, and then slowing down to observe alligators, turtles, and birds up close.A must do if you’re visiting Florida.

Wir hatten Mitte September 2025 eine tolle Tour mit Everglades Airboat Expeditions! Es gibt Wasser an Bord, Kopfhörer gegen den Lärm, und auch Rucksäcke können problemlos mitgenommen werden. Unser Guide, Captain Pat, war super und hat uns viel erklärt. Wir hatten Glück und konnten sogar kleine und große Krokodile sehen!Das Boot ist zwar schon etwas älter, aber vollkommen sicher und wir sind eine volle Stunde gefahren. Der Preis von 60 $ pro Person ist absolut fair. Praktisch ist auch, dass der Anbieter einer der ersten auf dem Weg in die Everglades ist. Alles in allem eine sehr empfehlenswerte und lohnenswerte Tour!

Excellent experience! Our captain, Pat, explained everything in such an authentic way — it didn’t feel like a rehearsed speech he gives on every tour. He tailored it to what we were hoping to see. We spotted a lot of wildlife. My advice: don’t get discouraged if you don’t see exactly what you expect — this isn’t a show, it’s nature. Capt. Pat suggested that next time we should go in the morning on a sunny day, since that’s when the animals come out to warm up. Tip: Bring cash so you can tip your Captain.

Eine wirklich schöne Tour. Kann ich nur Empfehlen. Neben der schönen Landschaft haben wir auch beeindruckende Alligatoren gesehen. Der Guide war sehr nett und hat uns während der Fahrt immer wieder auf eine sehr sympathische Weise viele interessante Informationen über Tiere und Everglades gegeben.

Safety over profit. When the weather turned poor, they communicated with me about the options. We could wait out the storms and see nothing in the rain, or come back the next morning with great weather and the chance to see actual gators. We choose safety and it was the right choice. Our morning boat ride took us through the glades with stories, gator sightings, and education. So glad we got to do this.

We booked a 1,5 hour private tour with captain Pat. One thing ahead: It was absolutely amazing and worth every dollar. What made this trip so outstanding was the fact that captain Pat knows so much about the wildlife, the behavior of the alligators and the everglades itself. With his help and knowledge we were able to spot several alligators and ended up in an even more spectacular moment when he spotted for us a nest with baby alligators and her mum. We would highly recommend everybody to book this experience (with Pat). It would be a crime not to see this beautiful side of Florida.

It is evident that he loves the glades and the local habitat and wants to share his excitement with others so they can enjoy an often vilified animal in a safe and respectful way. Great experience, Captain Moe was very knowledgeable and called in a 10’ female gator 🐊. We booked an hour and found it to be plenty. The only thing is no bathrooms, you drive to the ramp at the entrance of the Everglades National Park. We did see gators which was a good thing, was hoping the captain was gonna wrestle one 😀.

What an amazing find! We were traveling back from the keys and wanted to take an airboat ride. My hubby googled places and we lucked out by choosing this one. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this adventure. We had to take a private tour because we had our little pup with us. Our Captain, Ray (Rey) was phenomenal! I price shopped and read reviews for several places before choosing this company. Billy was a great guide. I made a bird friend along the way and even saw a mama gator with her babies!! Billy is very informative and mixes in some humor as well. I’m definitely coming back with my kiddos when we visit Florida again. I love how he knows so much about the ecology and the gators, and really cares about them. So glad I decided to do this tour with my husband!!!

We highly recommend Everglades Airboat Expeditions. It is a small, family-run company. The captains are South Florida natives and are extremely knowledgeable about the animals and plants in the Everglades. Captain Billy said that typically alligators are resting during the early morning when we did our tour, but he was determined for us to see one, and we saw multiple alligators along with swamp chickens, fish, and more. He shared interesting information, had a great sense of humor, and was an excellent airboat driver.
